Writing and research have been part of my practice across studio work, exhibitions, public programs, economic development, and nonprofit leadership. I use writing to investigate ideas, clarify strategy, interpret cultural work, and make complex information useful to different audiences. The resulting work takes many forms, including essays, exhibition publications, community research, strategic plans, impact reports, grant narratives, interviews, and public workshops.
Across these formats, I return to questions of material culture, memory, public life, cultural infrastructure, and the systems that determine whose work is seen, supported, and sustained.
